Dr. Hiten Upadhyay

MD, FAAEM / Bilingual

Dr. Upadhyay is a board-certified Emergency Physician and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years. He is currently the Medical Director and CEO of Professional Urgent Care Services, established in 2013. Dr. Upadhyay spent the first 15 years of his career working clinically at a Level II Trauma Center in St Petersburg, FL. He was a board member for Pinellas County EMS systems, in addition, he became the Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee for the Hospital. He was an active member of the Pinellas County Medical Association as a Secretary on the board and is an active member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Upadhyay graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics and Biology and completed his medical school and residency at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center. He currently has privileges at multiple hospitals in the Tampa Bay area and continues to practice clinical Emergency Medicine.

Marisa Benedict

Physician Assistant / Bilingual

Marisa is a board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida. Marisa previously graduated from University of Central Florida with a bachelor degree in Pre-Clinical Health Sciences. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. She is a Tampa Bay native, having been born and raised in St. Pete. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with her dog and loved ones around town.

Dianna Taylor

FNP-C / Bilingual

Dianna Taylor is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the healthcare field. She earned her advanced degree from the University of St. Augustine and has since built a diverse clinical background, including hospice, pediatrics, primary care, and urgent care. Known for her compassionate approach and dedication to patient-centered care, Dianna is deeply passionate about improving the health and well-being of those she serves.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dianna is committed to providing inclusive and culturally competent care to a diverse patient population. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mother of three and enjoys crafting, shopping, and indulging her love of books in her free time.

Ben Oliveira

Physician Assistant

Ben Oliveira is a certified Physician Assistant with a Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska, earned through the military’s prestigious Interservice Physician Assistant Program.
He has proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 14 years, bringing extensive experience in family medicine, emergency care, and aviation medicine to his role. Additionally, Ben holds certifications in obesity management, reflecting his commitment to providing comprehensive care tailored to his patients’ needs. Outside work, Ben enjoys practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, exploring new culinary experiences at great restaurants, and staying active in his community.

Jayla Smith

APRN

Jayla Smith is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. Since graduating, she has worked in both primary care and holistic care, managing patients with chronic and acute conditions. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
